Assalamualaikum ~ Hello ,let me introduce my self, my name Fadzliana Noorshakila bt Fadzil [sb130dd3371] taking Diploma In Management in Unitar International University on Kota Kinabalu Sabah. For this semester i'm taking course Introduction to E - Commerce by my lecture Sir Kit . From this course we got one assignment to create a blog using Blogspot then we must select one retail outlet specializing on selling souvenirs for tourists to our town it is Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Handicraft Market i choose for my retail outlet.
Located along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, Handicraft Market, also known as the Philippine market among the local population, became a must-see destination compulsory for getting a souvenir when you visit Sabah. It is located along the same street as the Kota Kinabalu Waterfront and takes between 5 to 10 minutes walk from the city center. Location more specifically, the market is confronted with the Hotel Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu.

Describe the souvenir
- The handicrafts that they made you won't find anywhere else. I think they are colorful, special, and easy to bring home items as a small gifts to friends or your own collection during your trip to Sabah. I think it is worth your time checking this out than shop at those souvenir shops that have items " Welcome to Sabah " that made in China.
sabah is home to an abundance of pearls. This exquisite harvest from the sea is collected and either sold raw or arranged into jewellery pieces such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings & rings. Many stores in KK offer some great buys, especially from Filipino Market. The prices are lower than that in many other countries and the quality is just as good if not better.Pick for those pearls which are near round shape, full of lustre & minimum flaws. This is the basic in selecting reasonable quality pearls. RM30RM50 for a short strand of necklace
- Sabah or Malaysian Borneo is the sanctuary for Orang Utans. Of course here you can find a variety of souvenirs on Orang Utan. Some of the popular shops are Borneo Craft, Borneo Treasures, Kadaiku, Sabah Handicraft Centre, The Borneo Trading Post, etc. What to buy: Be sure to pick up one of their signature, endangered species Orang Utan.
The wonderful Filipino market will promise not to disappoint you in your Sabah shopping excursion. Let us go and experience the colours of these magnificent markets now.
